Southport Yacht Club Kyle O’Connell and Tom Siganto win the 2015 Zhik 29er World Championships
From Saturday 8th to Friday 14th August, Southport Yacht Club sailors Kyle O’Connell and Tom Siganto, competed against 193 other entrants to be crowned the 2015 Zhik 29er World Champions.
Tom Siganto and Kyle O’Connell have been sailing with Southport Yacht Club for many years, starting with the youth sailing division moving up into the elite High Performance Sailing Team. Both sailors are ecstatic to have won this event, and SYC look forward to having them back on home waters soon.
The Welsh National Sailing Academy along with the International 29er Class Association held the seven day premier event in Pwllheli, North Wales.
