Dear SYC Team,

We’ve been looking for a venue to have our wedding and came across the Southport Yacht Club, my mum, fiancé and myself arranged to meet with Julie and have a look at the venue. She was so lovely and took us up to the function room and went over everything with us, she was so friendly and took her time to go over anything we had questions about, was such a lovely and exciting experience and can’t thank Julie enough 🙂 We then had dinner at the club and everyone there was wonderful, it was a miserable day and was pouring down, yet the club was so cosy and it was so nice sitting out on the covered deck area with a bottle of bubbles and some snacks, we sat here for a little as we were a bit early for dinner, and the atmosphere was so lovely, very relaxed and cruisey yet such a lovely fancy vibe as well, the atmosphere was wonderful and we had such a great time. We then went and sat in the restaurant area and had dinner a little later, the service and staff were all absolutely wonderful, they were happy to answer any questions and were so polite and friendly the whole night, the bar staff were also lovely and the kitchen must be too as the food was incredible!!! And such a great range on the menu as well and lovely dessert too, the food was speedy and of the highest quality 🙂 On the way in and out we also spoke to the lady at the front desk who was also so lovely and polite as well, she made us feel very welcome and set the whole friendly atmosphere from the get-go right up until leaving! We spent the way home raving about how wonderful our experience was and we will absolutely be back 🙂 Thank you so much to every single person in the SYC crew for making it such a lovely experience and for going above and beyond, cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Thank you. What a massive 2 weeks! It was no easy feat to have 5 individual radio shows, from four of our stations around the country, broadcasting LIVE from SYC. The support we received form all the staff at SYC could not have been more helpful and accommodating to our every request.

Thank you so much for a wonderful celebration on Saturday night for our mum’s 70th birthday!   We really appreciate that you sourced food for a more reasonable price, and that you made helpful suggestions when we were organizing it all.  The food was delicious.  The night went smoothly and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Most importantly mum had a fabulous night and can’t stop talking about how happy she was to have found the Southport Yacht Club venue.   Please can you pass on our thanks to the staff that were on that night!   We will be recommending your venue to all who ask.

Thank you and your team so much for all you did for us on Sunday. I also really appreciated the efforts your kitchen staff made.

Bevan took up some chocolates for you and the kitchen staff yesterday and left them with Kelly. Hopefully it has made it to your team!

The party got a lot of buzz and the photos I showed around at work might also generate some interest for future kids parties – I certainly hope so, as you have a wonderful venue and party pack. It was different, great for activities and all the kids enjoyed themselves.

Zara is interested in doing the summer camp and hopefully my cousin’s child will too.

In the meantime, we will explore a Sunday morning fun sail for the kids and brekkie for the adults.

Looking forward to getting the membership pack!

Well where to start!

I just wanted to say that from the moment that I first cancelled my big wedding I thought that nothing could compare and I was convinced it was going to be a disaster, we decided to only have a small intimate family and friends affair and that’s when I thought of the Yacht Club as we had had our staff function with you guys and it was fantastic.

We wanted to get married on the water but also didn’t want to drive anywhere else for the reception dinner so the yacht club was perfect as it has both those things in one place. I rang and Helen was fantastic, she was very helpful and friendly so I came down to check out the menu and organise where we could have the ceremony. After leaving I realised that when it was all set up it would be fantastic and the perfect place for our wedding.

From the moment I talked to Helen to when I was introduced to you Louise and right throughout the whole planning stage and on the day of our wedding…..you have been so great and so accommodating that it made it relaxed and run smooth and took all the worry away for me!!!

I have nothing but praise for the Yacht club, my wedding day was made that much more special because Louise, Helen and all the girls on the night were so nice and friendly and professional and Jason and I just wanted to thank you to you all for a wonderful night and for making our wedding even more special by taking all that worry away because you all did such a great job!

The table was in the perfect place as was the ceremony, the food was fantastic and cooked perfect, it just goes to show that it doesn’t have to be flash, big and expensive to be the perfect wedding! Thank you all so much.

Job well done girls, you should be proud!!
