Welcome to the 2021 International Etchells Class Queensland Championships
Southport Yacht Club are excited to once again be hosting the 2021 International Etchells Class Queensland Championships. The event will be held on
Saturday 4th – Sunday 5th December 2021
Southport Yacht Club’s sailing head quarters are located on the Gold Coast Broadwater, one of Australia’s most dynamic boating playgrounds. The respected sailing academy offers its own private beach adjoining a secure and spacious grassed area to rig up your boat and lifted by crane into the water where you are likely to be greeted by the pod of resident dolphins and the occasional shy dugong.
Each crew member of each boat will be weighed between 1400 and 1600 hours on Friday, 3rd December 2021 or between 0800 and 0900 hours on Saturday 4th December 2021 to ensure compliance with One Design Rule (OD Rule) C.2.2.
An Early Bird Entry fee of $300 is valid for all entries received prior to 1700hours on Friday, 19th November 2021.
After this date, the Entry Fee will increase to $350 with entries closing on 1700hours, Saturday 27th November 2021.
