Cruising at Southport Yacht Club

 

Southport Yacht Club’s Cruise Flotilla conduct cruises approximately once a month. A weekend cruise will usually involve an overnight anchorage in a protected location in the Broadwater or adjacent waters. During the cruise season a number of cruises of longer duration are also held and these will visit locations such as Bribie Island, Mooloolaba, Tangalooma and the Tweed River.  Often a cruise will have a particular theme with on-water activities, or ashore, to reflect the theme.
