Southport Yacht Club operates on water Sailing and Powerboats yachting programs and events across our Main Beach, Hollywell, Oxenford and Dux Anchorage (South Stradbroke Island) locations.
SAILING
Home of Australia’s spectacular offshore sailing regatta, SAIL PARADISE, and Australia’s newest ocean race, the GOLD COAST MACKAY YACHT RACE, the Club is also the finish line host of the CYCA’s SYDNEY GOLD COAST YACHT RACE and start line of the QCYC’s SURF TO CITY. Among hosting many other association events, SYC has an active club racing calendar across the following five divisions:
