THIS WEEK @ OXENFORD WATERSPORT CENTRE AND SQUAD UPDATE

Schools are back
This week SYC Oxenford welcomed back Helensvale State High School Y12 students for a full day of sailing. Students participated in theory and on-water activities including learning how to rig and sail both the Hobie Wave Catamarans and RS Quest Dinghys. Their teachers lead by example by joining in the fun and showing off their sailing skills.
SAILOR OF THE WEEK
Congratulations to Liam Fullerton who this week has been nominated as Sailor of the Week. Liam has been through the Tackers 1-3 learn to sail courses and this term has progressed from Green Fleet to Junior Fleet. Liam is embracing the challenge of joining a new group, pushing himself out of his comfort zone and progressing very well.
Well done Liam, keep up the great work!
