Welcome to the 2023 Paper Tiger Catamaran 52nd Australian Championships!
Southport Yacht Club in alliance with Queensland Paper Tiger Catamaran Association, are excited to host the 2023 Paper Tiger Catamaran 52nd Australian Championships.
The event will be held from Saturday 7th January to Wednesday 11th January 2023.
Southport Yacht Club’s sailing headquarters are located on the Gold Coast Broadwater, one of Australia’s most dynamic boating playgrounds. The respected sailing academy offers its own private beach adjoining a secure and spacious grassed area to rig up your boat and wheel it straight into the water where you are likely to be greeted by the pod of resident dolphins and the occasional shy dugong.
The Regatta is open to boats complying with the Paper Tiger International Class Rules and possessing a valid measurement certificate.
An Early Bird Entry Fee is valid for entries received before 1st September 2022
$225.00 for Seniors, $200.00 for Youth.
After this date, the Entry Fee will increase to $300.00 for Seniors, $250.00 for Youth with entries closing on 21st December 2022
