STH-EAST QLD OCEAN RACING QUALIFIER
What a weekend it was for the Skippers & Crews, extremely long and frustrating with NNW breeze on the nose slowing them down.
All Boats have rounded Double Island Point turning waypoint mark and headed for the finish line.
Unfortunately, Friday night saw the retirement of 3 boats, DREAM, TROUBLE & STRIFE and HELLS BELLS who have all returned safely to Ports.
There will certainly be some white knuckles on the helms with the current Strong Wind Warning forecast of 20-30knots from the West as they all make their way down the awesome coastline on the last leg to the finish off Main Beach Gold Coast.
