This Week at Oxenford was one of our busiest times of the Year!
As we prepared for our annual Summer on the Lake event with over 1000 people we also held our Summer School Holidays during the weekday.
Our Instructors had an absolute blast with the turnout for Summer on the lake being our largest one yet!
Summer on the Lake
Our Annual Summer on the Lake event was a HUGE Success with over 1000 people coming through. DJ Luke Fletcher and That DJ Charlie were a huge hit, providing perfect tunes all day!
Our VIP’s had the best seat of all with our stunning Lakeside view and VIP access to our Cocktail bar with a 2-hour drink package and delicious food from our Boatshed Brew included.
Over 500 of our sailors were first-time sailors! We cannot wait to see these sailors take up the sport or social sail again.
Adult Learn to Sail
Our January sailors completed their Final session this Sunday!
The instructors made note of the continuous improvement of each week.
We are excited to have them sailing the RS Quest comfortably on their own. We look forward to seeing them for Social Sailing Saturdays in February!

Summer School Holidays Sailing
Dates: 16th December 2024 – 24th January 2025
Monday to Friday
- Full-Day Sessions: $80
- Half-Day Sessions: $50
This program offers an exciting opportunity for kids to enjoy the water, learn new skills, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. Spots are limited, so book early to secure your place!

Sailor of the week
This week’s Sailor of the Week is Henry Pye! Henry first joined us for Tackers 1 in 2023 but quickly transition into Out There Sailing team where he enjoyed sailing the RS Quest.
Henry joined our OutThere Fleet program and has been an active sailor!
His enthusiasm and commitment to developing his sailing skills are clear, We’re looking forward to seeing him continue to progress and enjoy his time on the water!
