Congratulations Southport Yacht Club Member, Olympic Gold Medallist and World Champion Mathew Belcher, named the Courier-mail Channel Seven 2014 Queensland Sport Star of the Year!
The award has never been won by a sailor before, making Belcher the first in the awards 20 year history. A humbling honour amongst sports elite, yet completely deserved after Belcher’s recent successes in the sport of sailing.
