Hey Virtus and Southport Yacht Club. Fabulous to hear you are getting together to provide an avenue for sailors with an intellectual disability to compete. As Special Olympics have removed sailing from their national calendar, our training squad at Mooloolaba have been very frustrated with the options available to them. We, the training cadre, have been watching their interest wane. Now the information on this event is out we’ll be able to set them goals again and give them targets to achieve.
