TRANSPAC HONOLULU DIV 1 3RD PLACER I52 ‘ZEUS’ ENTERS INAUGURAL GCCM GOLD COAST MACKAY YACHT RACE 2024
Infinity 52 “ZEUS” was launched new last year, just 6 weeks prior to the TransPac and claimed 3rd place in Division 1. Based in NSW, the same multinational crew will be racing her this year in the inaugural GCMYR fleet. She has the DSS (Dynamic Stability System) shaped foil that protrudes from the hull to leeward providing lift to counteract the heeling force from the sail plan. DINGHY MARATHON TROPHY RACE
Due to strong wind conditions on the weekend, the 2024 Dinghy Marathon Trophy Race, sponsored by Aviso Broking, was postponed till Sunday the 28th April. Sailing Instructions and further information is available here.
LADIES DAY RACE

OXENFORD WEEKENDS
This weekend at Oxenford was filled with strong winds, perfect sun, and great sailing. The up-and-coming sailors in Tackers and OT having an absolute blast heading towards the end of the term. Although a few students were nervous and unsteady about the strong winds, our instructors came through and turned the experience for all our sailors into a great weekend.
SHE SAILS
Just in time for International Women’s Day, our She Sails event was held this weekend, with 8 ladies jumping on boards for a fun-filled afternoon. Special thanks to our amazing volunteers Ilza, Teegan, Jayne, and Gabby for helping make this event happen. All our ladies wore pink and purple and decorated cupcakes for the celebration of International Women’s Day. Special Guest of the month was SYC Jess Greenwood speaking about her first Sydney to Hobart race, what a fantastic day! And a warm thank you to She Sails Instructor and Ambassador Jasmine Ruck for her ongoing encouragement and dedication to supporting Women in Sailing.
