Celebrating SYC Volunteers
On Sunday 29th January SYC Oxenford hosted the annual volunteer thank you lunch. A relaxing and fun afternoon was had by all who attended, whether the choice was to sit in the cool shade chatting the day away or participating in stand-up paddle boarding and sailing activities.
We appreciate everything the volunteers do at all of the SYC venues but would like to extend gratitude and thanks to those volunteers who came to enjoy the day as guests and ended up helping the team pack up.
Let the adventure begin!
On Thursday 2nd February our 2023 youth sailing year begins with squad training followed by our structured Tackers and Out There Sailing courses run on Saturday both at Oxenford and Hollywell locations. If you’re interested in finding out more, click on any of the below links for further information.

Participants can only register for one event. Giving youth an opportunity to try sailing before committing to join us for a course.
- Tackers 1, 2 & 3 and Out There Sailing Level 1
Beginner sailing for ages 7-12yrs (Tackers) and 12-17yrs (Out There) starting Saturday 4th February 2023 from 8.30-11.30am. Tackers 1 is a fantastic price with the offer of 2 for the price of 1, register here:
