The 2024-2025 Sailing Season has just started this week!
Schedule of Races, Calendar and Sailing Instructions for each Division have been uploaded to the SYC website.
LADIES DAY RACE
An excellent day out on the water last Saturday saw 13 entrants in this years Ladies Day Race, sponsored by Aviso Broking. Decorated, dressed up and having a great time with kites out up the Broadwater, results are available here

Time is running out to $AVE 30% Entry into the inaugural #gcmyr24. Early Bird closes next Friday 10th May!
And we’ve added a division for Multihulls!
OXENFORD
A Perfect weekend at Oxenford with the sun shining and a perfect amount of wind for our sailors to have an amazing time. All our Learn to Sail courses all in their 2nd sessions and our beginners are already learning the ropes to become the next star sailor. We can’t wait to see our team again for session 3.
Sailor of the Week
Let’s give a huge round of applause to our Sailor of the Week, Charley Stewart! She’s been conquering the waves with her fearless spirit and determination! From her very first sail, she’s shown incredible dedication and passion for sailing. Her enthusiasm is contagious, inspiring everyone around her to embrace the joy of sailing! Charley! We’re so proud to have you as part of our sailing family!
HOLLYWELL
Congratulations to Neil Rowsthorn and Jack Wallace, Winners of the Saturday Inshore Passage Series. That makes a full house of all 4 summer trophies for the team. Inshore Passage, Div 2 JaM, Saturday and mid week RTC’s. A top effort from top sailors.
Neil and Jack continued to improve all season sailing every race possible in all conditions.Neil is also a sailor for the sail disability programme at Hollywell and over the years has successfully represented SYC at away regattas. Well done team.
